Ulricehamns Energi Elnät is now seeking an experienced distribution electrician for electrical grid operations in Ulricehamn. Here you will use your professional skills in a local company where safety, collaboration, and responsibility are important parts of the work. Job Responsibilities As a distribution electrician, you will work with construction, connections, troubleshooting, and repairs in the electrical distribution network within voltage levels of 0.4 to 40 kV. The assignments include both planned work and fault remediation during operational disruptions. Your job responsibilities include, among other things: • building new parts of the electrical grid and carrying out renovations and connections • laying and connecting cables and installing cable cabinets and grid stations • troubleshooting and fixing faults in low-voltage and high-voltage networks • installing, replacing, and inspecting electricity meters and related equipment • performing new installations, service, and repairs in street lighting networks • documenting and reporting completed work You carry out the assignments independently or together with colleagues depending on the scope of the work. Contact with customers, contractors, and other parts of the business occurs. Work is mainly conducted during daytime hours. On-call duty is included in the position. Qualifications and Personal Qualities We are looking for someone with experience as a distribution electrician who feels confident working out in the field. You can plan and carry out your assignments and have a good understanding of the requirements for quality and safety in electrical distribution. Requirements • relevant electrical technical education • experience from electrical distribution or equivalent experience • experience working with low and high voltage • experience working in switchgear • experience with cable laying • experience working with grid stations • B driver's license • good Swedish language skills, spoken and written • good computer proficiency Meritorious • electrical authority certification • industry-specific training, such as ESA, Hot Work, or Work on Road • BE or C driver's license Equivalent experience may be a longer background in industrial electrical work where you have worked practically with construction and installation in technical environments that are close to electrical distribution. As a person, you are responsible, thorough, and accustomed to maintaining order around you. You remain calm when conditions change and can make well-considered decisions when the situation requires it. You work well with others and communicate professionally with colleagues, customers, and external contacts.
