Background: Our established industrial client needs two CNC operators as the company is in an expansion phase and needs to staff the CNC machines. Job Description: We are looking for skilled operators for the company's milling department where milling takes place for the manufacture of various steel products. This is not assembly line manufacturing but everything is made to order. You will independently be responsible for setup and machine processing, as well as performing product inspections. Your tasks also include performing maintenance and simple troubleshooting. Depending on your background and interests, programming, time estimation for quotes, improvement projects and certain procurement will also be part of the role. We are looking for you who have documented good experience in cutting operations. You have good knowledge of cutting tools, blueprint reading, manual measurement methods and general workshop work. Competencies: We believe you have secondary education from an industrial, construction, or automotive gymnasium with several years of experience from operator jobs in heavy industry. Programming skills are a plus.
