Then this might be the right opportunity for you. We are now seeking a CNC operator for an established industrial company in Skövde. Here you will work in a modern workshop with advanced 5-axis machining, varied tasks, and great opportunity to influence your daily work. This is a staffing placement, which means you will begin your employment as a consultant with us but will then be employed directly by the company. About the Role As a CNC operator, you will work with the manufacturing of complex tools and molds, primarily in aluminum. Unlike traditional series production, the work involves single-piece manufacturing, where each project has its own conditions and technical challenges. You will work closely with both design and production, where you take over the documentation from the designers and are responsible for CAM preparation and machining on the company's 5-axis machines. The role suits you if you have a genuine interest in technology and appreciate precision, problem-solving, and varied workdays. The work is scheduled for 2-shift operations. However, there is the possibility to work daytime if that suits you better. Work Tasks You will, among other things: Perform CAM preparation based on drawings and CAD documentation Program and operate 5-axis CNC milling machines Machine and finalize advanced tools and molds Ensure quality and accuracy throughout the manufacturing process Participate in assembly, post-processing, and fine-tuning of parts as needed Contribute to continuous improvements in work methods and processes Qualifications We are looking for someone who: Has experience with CAM preparation Has experience with 5-axis CNC milling Has previous practical experience from the manufacturing industry Can read and work from drawings and technical documentation Has strong technical interest and enjoys solving practical problems Speaks and understands Swedish Merits Experience as a tool maker Experience from a model workshop or prototype manufacturing Experience in the manufacturing of form tools Knowledge of advanced CNC machining of aluminum Personal Qualities To succeed in this role, we believe you are thorough, responsible, and quality-conscious.
