Would you like to work on species protection issues in some of Sweden's most extensive development and expansion projects? We are looking for an experienced species protection expert who wants to contribute their expertise to assignments related to infrastructure, energy, mining and community development in northern Sweden.
In this role, you are responsible for surveys, analysis and advice on species protection, with a particular focus on species groups such as birds, amphibians and bats. You work with the entire process – from planning and conducting field surveys to analysis, report writing and preparing documentation for permit and consultation processes. The work also includes dialogue with authorities, clients and other stakeholders as well as support to project managers and technical specialists in complex project environments.
We are looking for someone with a relevant higher education or university degree in, for example, biology, ecology or nature conservation, and at least three years of experience working with species protection issues. You have good knowledge of Swedish environmental legislation and experience in conducting surveys, assessments and investigations related to species protection. Experience from consulting work or work on larger development projects is a merit.
As a person, you are self-driven, well-organized and communicative. You enjoy combining field work with analytical work and have the ability to translate ecological expertise into practical and well-founded recommendations.
With us, you will be part of a knowledgeable and committed organization where your expertise makes a real difference – for both community development and biodiversity. We offer a stimulating work environment with exciting projects, great development opportunities and colleagues who share your commitment to nature and environmental issues.Would you like to work on species protection issues in some of Sweden's most extensive development and expansion projects?
