We are looking for an Epic Owner who wants to lead some of our largest and most business-critical development initiatives. In our IT Department, we have approximately 350 employees, and our mission of societal importance means we need to grow. We believe that different perspectives and experiences make us better! About the Role As an Epic Owner, you lead major initiatives that span multiple teams, trains, and business areas. You are responsible for an epic from identified need and idea, through planning and implementation, until it delivers measurable value. You create the conditions for the right people to work toward the same goal, coordinate dependencies, and ensure that delivery stays on track throughout the development journey. In the role, you will, among other things: - lead the work of defining and driving epics through the agency's agile portfolio process - formulate epic hypotheses and develop MVPs together with the business, architects, agile trains, and suppliers - coordinate dependencies between multiple trains, teams, and shared services - follow up on deliveries and ensure they create expected business value - present status, results, and value development in portfolio syncs and other decision forums - participate in PI planning and coordinate deliveries with other initiatives in the organization You will collaborate with many different competencies and stakeholders. The role involves close collaboration with the business, architects, development teams, product management, and external suppliers. You will be part of the Agency-Wide IT unit within the IT Department. Your Profile We are looking for you who have: - relevant post-secondary education or experience that we deem equivalent - at least five years of experience leading large technical projects or cross-functional development initiatives - at least five years of experience in a leadership role in a scaled agile organization, for example as an Epic Owner, Product Manager, Product Owner, or equivalent - experience driving major initiatives in government or other public sector operations - experience with the Public Procurement Act (LOU), procurement, and supplier management - experience with change management - experience with business development - very good ability to express yourself in Swedish in both speech and writing It is a merit if you have: - experience working at the Swedish Pensions Agency in a similar role - education/certification in SAFe - experience with planning, issue management, and collaboration tools such as Atlassian products (Jira, JSM, Confluence) It is not only what and how long you have done something that matters most, but what you have the ability to do.
