In your role as Contractor Manager - Grid Connections, you hold a key role in the collaboration between Vattenfall Eldistribution and our contractors, while also contributing to the development of working methods, quality, and expertise within grid connections.
As Contractor Manager - Grid Connections, you have overall responsibility for contractor cooperation and technical oversight within one or more contract areas in Grid Connections. You are the central link between the operation and the contractors and work closely with both internal functions and external parties to ensure mutual understanding, good communication, and continuous improvement.
The role is both operational and development-oriented and involves significant personal responsibility as well as good opportunities to influence working methods and results.
Your Main Areas of Responsibility
As Contractor Manager - Grid Connections, you will have contractor and technical responsibility for your contract areas and are responsible for dialogue with them, for example through customer meetings and ongoing follow-ups. You listen to the operation's needs and ensure good communication and understanding between all parties and stakeholders. You independently drive improvement proposals within your area of responsibility and contribute as a subject matter expert within identified knowledge areas. Furthermore, you will:
Be the link between case handlers, different teams within Grid Connections and the contractors, and support and inform about new working methods
Follow up on KPIs, statistics, forecasts, and other relevant areas against the contractor
You serve as a contact person towards contract managers and provide support by, for example, ensuring the right expertise in grid connections, identifying competency development needs, and developing and delivering training in the field.
Requirements Specification
Your Background
We believe that you, as an applicant, have experience with contractor cooperation, contract follow-up, or have worked in some capacity within the connection process to the local grid. You have a good understanding of grid connections or related technical operational areas. Working in a structured and independent manner with follow-up, analysis, and improvement work is something you enjoy, as you drive matters from need to implementation.
We see that you have strong communication skills and thrive in a coordinating and relationship-building role. It is a merit if you have experience from the energy industry, electrical grids, or larger organizations with multiple collaboration interfaces.
