In this role, you will have a broad and varied position where you are involved in several parts of the project's different phases. You work closely with both project management and production and have an important role in monitoring the project's finances, planning, and progress. The role involves great personal responsibility and provides good insight into the entire project process from planning to execution. About the Position As a construction engineer, you work closely with project managers and site management on one or more building projects. You have a central role in project management and are responsible for supporting the project team in finances, planning, procurement, and follow-up. You are part of a project team together with project managers, site managers, supervisory staff, and other construction engineers and work closely with production throughout the project. In the role you will, among other things: • Work with project finances through budgets, forecasts, and financial monitoring • Participate in procurement, purchasing, and ordering of subcontractors and materials • Handle contracts, invoices, and contract modifications in dialogue with project managers and subcontractors • Participate in construction meetings and support project managers and site management in project planning and execution • Create and monitor production schedules and support production in administrative matters • Work with quality and environmental issues and sustainability work, for example Product Environmental Declaration The role also involves working in the project management system Next and contributing to the development of the company's working methods in upcoming projects. We are Looking for You • Have several years of experience as a construction engineer or similar role, and are confident in independently managing calculations, procurement, and financial monitoring in building projects • Have vocational or higher education within construction or equivalent work experience • Have good understanding of construction law, especially standard contracts such as AB 04 and ABT 06 • Have experience with calculation and project management systems, preferably Next or similar • Have good understanding of both building production and project finances • Communicate fluently in Swedish in speech and writing and have good knowledge of English • Hold a B driving license • Are structured, business-minded, and thrive in a role where you take great personal responsibility while working closely with project management, production, and external parties Other Information Start: By agreement Duration: Full-time Placement: Uppsala Submit your application as soon as possible as selection and interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis.
