As an Enterprise Architect at the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare, you will have a central role in developing our architectural capabilities and creating the long-term conditions needed for us to fulfill our societal mission. Through your work, you contribute to information, data, systems, and digital services being developed in a coordinated, secure, and sustainable manner. We are facing extensive development of our digital landscape. To meet increased demands on information management, data utilization, security, integration, and modernization of existing systems, we need to strengthen our ability to manage and develop our digital entirety. Here you will have the opportunity to help shape that direction. You will be a driving force in translating the organization's objectives into technical strategies and solutions that create real value for both the organization and society. In this role, you are responsible for establishing and leading overall architectural work within the digitalization area and contributing to a common direction for our digital development. You will develop the principles, methods, and governance forms needed to create a long-term sustainable architecture and support well-founded decisions on development and technology choices. An important part of the assignment is to build up and further develop a cohesive architecture function that supports our development within cloud services, data, integration, and modernization of existing systems. As a strategic advisor to management and operations, you contribute guidance, decision support, and a holistic perspective that is crucial for our development. The role is located in the Digitalization Department, which develops, delivers, and manages critical systems and digital services. The department is an important enabler for the National Board of Health and Welfare's development and works closely with operations to translate needs and objectives into sustainable digital solutions. You can move between strategic reasoning and concrete decisions and thrive in a role where you drive development in collaboration with both operations and technology. We are looking for someone who has many years of experience with IT architecture methods, tools, and processes many years of experience in a role as an architect (enterprise/domain/lead) in medium to large organizations with high technical complexity experience in developing and anchoring target architecture at the enterprise level experience in building up and developing architectural capabilities good knowledge of information architecture and data governance good knowledge in IT security and regulatory compliance, for example GDPR academic education that the agency considers relevant for the role very good Swedish in speech and writing good English in speech and writing It is meritorious if you have experience leading major transformation programs experience leading or coordinating other architects experience with architectural issues in the public sector Good to know This is a permanent full-time employment position with placement in Stockholm. The position is in the Digitalization Department, unit Technical Platforms. You will work from the office at Västerbroplan in Stockholm. In spring 2027, the agency will move to newly renovated premises in Solna Strand. The position is classified as security-sensitive and a security vetting with record check will be conducted before a hiring decision is made.
