JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As an enterprise architect, you will be part of a team of twelve people responsible for driving work forward for all of Lantmäteriet. Your work tasks will range from strategic to operational level and contribute to developing our architecture to fit within the current organization. You will thus be a builder and communicator regarding architectural matters. In the role, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating the architecture work and, together with other architects, drive the architecture work forward. You will also develop architecture concepts based on business needs and recommend what creates value for the business as well as contribute to and develop our architecture. Together with the architecture team and in collaboration with our business areas, developers, and technicians, you will drive the architecture work forward. All to ensure the design of our architecture in order to achieve Lantmäteriet's goals and strategies. The work also includes driving and conducting investigations and impact analyses of different architectural alternatives and their impact on our operations, its information, organization, and way of working, both in the short and long term. Your work tasks will also include: • Architecture work where you use models to analyze and document architecture, • Create documentation for architectural decisions and alternative choices where consequences and shifts in direction are analyzed, • Drive and lead others in enterprise and/or solution architecture work, • Communicate architectures and the shifts we want to make to different stakeholders, so that they are incorporated into regular management and/or development plans for implementation • Drive and lead change work and create conditions for cross-functional collaboration through objective management and mobilization of groups and individuals • Lead and support other architects and lead workshops for modeling Placement is at Lantmäteriet's offices in Gävle, Uppsala, or Stockholm. The majority of your colleagues and other important contacts are based in Gävle, which is why regular presence in Gävle is required. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with a university degree in engineering/IT or equivalent relevant experience, as well as many years of experience working with IT architecture from a solution perspective. You have good knowledge of the development process and its various stages and are familiar with different frameworks and technology platforms. To succeed in the role, the following is also required: • documented skills in conducting, documenting, and leading/facilitating systematic architecture work, • good and broad knowledge of IT architecture, system integrations, and technology, • good and broad knowledge of working with business architecture, including modeling of processes and information flows, • experience in developing and implementing target architecture, roadmaps, and architecture principles, • experience in portfolio management, • good knowledge of Swedish and English. It is advantageous if you have previous experience and understanding of the development and operation of IT systems as well as knowledge of private clouds and hybrid solutions aimed at large government agencies or similar organizations. It is also advantageous to have previous experience and knowledge of the design, development, and management of identity and authorization systems as well as security solutions, i.e., broad knowledge of security architecture. You find it easy to create new and good relationships and are comfortable in settings where you speak to groups, lead workshops, or act as a facilitator. You are confident in yourself and can handle ambiguity in complex tasks. In this position, it is important that you solve problems without losing sight of long-term strategies. You have the ability to see logic and connections in complex information or environments. The position is security-classified, which means you must be a Swedish citizen and a security vetting with an accompanying security interview will be conducted in connection with employment.
