As a unit manager, you are responsible for ensuring that residents' care and service needs are met. You have responsibility for budget, personnel, and work environment. Together with your staff, you create a dynamic and positive work environment characterized by trust-based leadership. You are part of the area's management group consisting of the operations manager and other unit managers for the care and housing facilities in the city district.

Description of Landala Care and Housing Facility:
Your workplace and residents' home is located adjacent to Landala Square, a square full of activity and shops. We are integrated into a regular residential building shared with public housing, Chalmers student housing, and a preschool, which creates opportunities for many meetings and community with others. At Landala care and housing facility, we focus on making each day meaningful and active for our residents. We organize activities every day such as movement bingo, watercolor painting, trivia, ice cream café, Friday pub, music, and various activities with the preschool. Of course, we celebrate all different holidays in the way our residents wish.
Description of Kärrahus Care and Housing Facility:
Kärrahus is centrally located in Hisings Kärra, with proximity to services, green areas, and beautiful walking trails. At Kärrahus care and housing facility, there is a warm and welcoming atmosphere where engaged and attentive staff together create good care and community. The facility consists of two building wings. Here are units for general care and services, for elderly people with mental disabilities, and for people with dementia. Through our activity center, Meeting Place Kärra, we regularly offer activities and social meeting places in collaboration with various actors. Next to the facility is also a restaurant open to the public and contributes to a vibrant and pleasant environment.
About You
Requirements for the Position:
We are looking for someone with a university degree with at least 120 higher education credits in care and services, social work, or behavioral science. Alternatively, you may have another university degree that the employer deems equivalent.
Meritorious for the Position:
Previous management experience in care and services
Knowledge of legislation, the Social Services Act, and the Health and Medical Services Act
