JOB RESPONSIBILITIES In your role as unit manager, you have overall responsibility for leading, developing and ensuring quality in the vocational university's operations in close cooperation with education leaders, staff and industry representatives. Your main areas of responsibility include financial, personnel and working environment responsibility for the unit. You lead and ensure quality of the vocational university's seven programs and develop and follow them up in accordance with education plans and regulatory requirements. You cooperate with industries and other relevant actors to ensure the relevance and quality of the programs and initiate and drive the development of new programs based on identified skills needs. The role also includes creating good conditions for staff and education leaders, as well as working systematically with follow-up, results and continuous improvements. You represent the vocational university in both internal and external contexts. In addition, you are responsible for Campus Kramfors (learning center) and its mission to facilitate for citizens to study at universities and colleges. This means you lead and develop the learning center's operations, cooperate with relevant education providers and internal functions, and ensure good support for students. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has: • Relevant university education or other experience that the employer considers equivalent. • Documented experience of leadership and experience of leading operations toward set goals. • Ability to work strategically and long-term with development of operations. • Good knowledge of the vocational university's mission and regulations or the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with them. • Good digital skills and ability to handle multiple parallel processes/projects. • Experience of quality work, follow-up and systematic improvement work. Meritorious is experience of: • Working with vocational university programs, preferably in a role with budget and personnel responsibility and experience of application work toward MYH (The Swedish Council for Higher Vocational Education). • Cooperation with industry, working life and other education actors to ensure the relevance and quality of programs. • Cooperation with universities/colleges or work within a learning center, including developing support structures for students. • Work in a politically governed organization. As a person, you are a clear, committed and relationship-building leader who enjoys motivating and developing staff. You have good analytical skills and are experienced in working structurally and results-oriented with a development-focused approach. Driver's license category B and very good knowledge of the Swedish language is a requirement. Form of employment: Permanent employment. Duration: Permanent, start date: Start date by agreement.
