Helsingborg Hospital is one of Region Skåne's four emergency hospitals. Here, qualified emergency care is provided around the clock.
We are a central operating department that performs operations in orthopedics, surgery/vascular, otolaryngology (ENT), urology, and gynecology/obstetrics. With us, you get stimulating and varied work because we provide both emergency and planned surgery. We perform a wide range of surgical procedures as well as both long and short operations. With us, you meet pediatric, young, and adult patients. We operate on an emergency basis around the clock, every day of the week.

RESPONSIBILITIES
We welcome you who have the desire and will to lead the operations department in Helsingborg in a shared leadership model! With us, you get an exciting and developmental role where you work close to daily operations.
As a manager leading employees, you take your operations in the expected direction toward operational goals. Your employees' engagement is crucial to the success of your assignment, and you value coaching, giving feedback, evaluating performance, promoting collaboration, and creating a good work environment. Together with your employees, you develop operations through effective work methods with high quality and continuously follow up for learning and further development. Together, you are three unit managers with employer and management responsibility covering employees, operations, and finances for the entire surgical operations.
Work environment is an important part of your operational responsibility as a unit manager; you work from a holistic perspective where you lead, plan, organize, and develop operations. Furthermore, you make and implement decisions and follow up on results. You clarify and communicate visions, goals, and strategies and organize operations in a structured and resource-efficient manner. As unit managers, you have close collaboration with the medically responsible physician (MLA).
Working in shared leadership places great demands on trust, humility, and shared values. It also creates great opportunities for you and your colleagues to support and complement each other and create added value for operations and employees, but also for yourselves. Therefore, close and well-functioning collaboration in the management group is important.
QUALIFICATIONS
You have higher education and/or university education in healthcare and good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written. It is advantageous for the position if you have management and/or leadership experience as well as knowledge of operating theater and/or anesthesia care. We would like you to have leadership training and experience in operational development and change management. It is advantageous if you have competence in operations planning with balanced finances.

Most medical specialties are represented, and there is intensive care, obstetrics, and neonatal care. We also have operations at hospitals in Ängelholm and Landskrona. In Ängelholm, we perform a large portion of our planned operations.
