Your responsibilities We are seeking an engaged and driven unit manager for the care and rehabilitation team! As a unit manager, you have a key role in working toward integrated health and medical care in Åtvidaberg Municipality. The role requires both commitment to change management and the ability to involve employees in the development of operations. You lead the operations closely and operatively, with full responsibility for personnel, finances, work environment, and represent the operations internally and externally. A central part of your assignment is to drive and develop the operation's process management and systematic quality work. You work closely with the operations manager and collaborate with the area's operations manager on strategic matters. You will be part of the management group together with unit managers within special housing. Your team consists of nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, rehabilitation assistants, and a pharmacist. You also collaborate with other unit managers within the administration as well as the administration's support functions, such as MAS, MAR, and development strategists. About you We are looking for someone with a higher education degree in health and medical care, such as a nurse, occupational therapist, or physiotherapist. We see that you as an applicant have previous experience as a leader or manager within health and medical care. We consider it an advantage if you have previous experience leading in change management. As a person, you have good initiative where you, both independently and together with others, make clear decisions and you have an easy time collaborating with others. You see the importance of teamwork and actively contribute and motivate cooperation between professions. You have the ability to lead and motivate others as well as set goals and direction for operations. You have the ability to delegate tasks and provide advice, support, and opportunities for your employees' development. Furthermore, you have an easy time planning and organizing your work, where you set goals, organize resources, and follow up and complete activities.
