Your role The Youth Unit works with young people aged 13–20 and consists of 13 social workers divided into two teams, each with a team leader, plus two school coordinators. Your role is to lead the unit and have overall responsibility for operations, staff, and budget. As a unit manager, you will have a central role in continuing to develop the operation in line with new work methods promoting continued good working environment and cooperation in the team coaching and supporting employees in their important mission. You will be part of the management group for Children and Youth and collaborate closely with both colleagues and external partners. The management group consists of an area manager, four unit managers, a methods developer, and a placement coordinator. Your competence and experience We are looking for someone who has: a degree in social work current experience leading operations, work groups, and/or development projects within the field work experience in social services authority work with children and young people as the target group good knowledge of the laws, policy documents, and rules that govern social services an active interest in monitoring developments in the field experience and knowledge of SAVRY good ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. It is an advantage if you have current experience driving change processes experience and knowledge of ERASOR, MI, and Signs of Safety experience with similar work tasks in a politically governed organization.
