In Lycksele Municipality, we strive to offer quality service to our residents. Care and elderly services are provided in our care facilities or in the user's own home. Within the Support, Care and Elderly Services business area, we have approximately 400 employees distributed across 15 units working together to ensure good care and services. As a unit manager, you will have a central role in leading, developing and ensuring quality in your operations. You are responsible for personnel, work environment and budget and work closely with both employees and fellow managers. You have a clear mandate to drive the business forward and make decisions based on what you assess is best for employees, users and families. You will also be part of the business area's management group where you, together with other managers, drive strategic issues and development work to strengthen quality and meet future needs in care services. You have relevant higher education or other competencies that the employer deems equivalent, as well as experience working in a politically governed organization. Previous management experience is considered a merit. Good knowledge of legislation in the field, such as the Social Services Act and Health and Medical Services Act, is also considered a merit. Experience working digitally and a valid driver's license (Category B) are requirements for the position. As a leader, you are clear, present and good at creating joy in work. You leverage your employees' expertise and work structurally, even during change. The assignment involves close collaboration with internal and external partners, so you also need to have excellent communication skills, the ability to build relationships and establish trust.
