Together with your employees, you create engagement, achieve results, and drive development. We are now seeking a Unit Manager for our Chronic Pain Rehabilitation Clinic. We are launching a new multimodal pain rehabilitation program at the primary care level in the public sector. The operation includes clinics in Malmö, Kristianstad, and Helsingborg that are organizationally a shared unit. As unit manager, you will have a central role in leading, shaping, and developing the operation from the start. You will lead interdisciplinary teams consisting of medical secretaries, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and psychologists or social workers. The operation is characterized by person-centered care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and work based on science and proven experience. Multimodal pain rehabilitation aims to improve function, strengthen coping strategies, and increase quality of life for people with chronic pain. Work is conducted in a structured, team-based manner with a behavioral medical and biopsychosocial approach. DUTIES In this recruitment, we are looking for someone who already has an employment relationship with Region Skåne. As a manager leading employees, you take your operation in the expected direction toward operational goals. Your employees' engagement is crucial to success in your assignment, and you value coaching, giving feedback, evaluating performance, promoting collaboration, and creating a good work environment. Together with your employees, you develop the operation through effective methods with high quality and continuously follow up for learning and further development. You have employer and management responsibility that includes employees, operations, and finances. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with your employees to build working methods, treatment content, procedures, and forms of collaboration for a sought-after rehabilitation operation. You lead employees in an operation where the combined expertise of the professions is crucial for patients' rehabilitation and where development work is a natural part of daily work. As unit manager, you are responsible for leading and developing the operation at the clinics in Malmö, Kristianstad, and Helsingborg, creating clear goals, structures, and working methods for the new unit, and driving development and improvement work together with your employees. You will be an important part in building an operation that meets patients' needs in an equitable, structured, and evidence-based manner. Possible work locations for this position are Malmö, Kristianstad, or Helsingborg. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who wants to work with leadership in a changing organization and is passionate about being involved in developing the operation and employees. You have strategic thinking, good analytical skills, and are well-organized. Furthermore, you have good communication skills, are attentive, and collaborate well with others while being able to work independently. This position requires a university or college degree in healthcare. We prefer that you hold a regulated health profession license. Good Swedish language skills in both speech and writing are required, and for regulated professions, Swedish language skills at a minimum level of C1 according to the Council of Europe scale are required. It is meritorious if you have experience in leadership with responsibility for employees, operations, and finances. If you have experience in rehabilitation, preferably in chronic pain or a related field, that is also an advantage. Experience with multimodal pain rehabilitation is particularly meritorious, as is experience working in interdisciplinary teams, development and change work, and operation setup or implementation of new working methods. Salary range: 51,000–57,000 kr. The administration is responsible for appropriation-financed healthcare operations within close care. This includes, among other things, mobile teams and specialized palliative care, outpatient operations within close care, acute care within close care, 1177 by phone, and certain regional shared functions.
