We are now looking for a unit manager for the Project Resources Unit within the Section for Authority Development at the Digitalization and Development Department.
The Digitalization and Development Department's focus is to drive the development of the Swedish Migration Agency's processes and capabilities through innovation, digitalization and business development. Through coordinated process management and long-term development work, we contribute to increasing efficiency, quality and legal certainty in the authority's operations.
For the Section for Authority Development, we are now seeking a unit manager for the Project Resources Unit. The unit's organizational base is Norrköping, but placement can take place at one of the Swedish Migration Agency's main offices. The unit is responsible, among other things, for ensuring the availability and staffing of project managers in the authority's development initiatives.
Within the Project Resources Unit there are qualified project managers who lead and support the authority's development work by ensuring that projects are carried out in accordance with established processes and methods. The unit is also responsible for administrative support to the section's project activities.

Your assignment
As a unit manager, you have overall responsibility for the unit's operations. You lead, develop and monitor the operations based on set targets and contribute to creating good conditions for both the unit's results and employees' development.
You have personnel, budget and work environment responsibility for approximately 15–20 employees and are responsible for creating good conditions for the unit's deliveries and continued development.
In the role you will, among other things:
lead and develop the unit's operations towards set targets
ensure that the authority's development initiatives have access to the right project management expertise
create conditions for professional and high-quality project and development work
promote a working environment characterized by collaboration, participation and commitment
contribute to developing the operations from a holistic perspective.
You report to the section manager and are part of the section's management group. Together with other managers, you contribute to the strategic development of the operations.

You should bring with you
academic education that the employer considers relevant for the position, or other education in combination with relevant experience
at least three years of current management experience in the public sector with responsibility for operations, budget, work environment and employees
experience of business development, process development or technical development work
good knowledge of business management and business monitoring
good knowledge of the Swedish Migration Agency's mission
very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English.
It is advantageous if you have
experience leading qualified specialists or knowledge workers
experience of project management, project leadership or project portfolio management in larger organizations
experience of change management related to digitalization or business development
experience leading cross-functional development initiatives with many stakeholders
experience working in a management group
experience with resource planning and competence provision within project or development activities.
Terms of employment
Placement: Norrköping
Employment type: Permanent employment with six months' probation.
Start date: By agreement.
Working hours: Full-time, office hours.
Remote work: Possibility for some remote work exists based on the unit's needs and conditions.
