Måsta äng health and care home is located in Måsta-Slagsta just outside Eskilstuna city center, close to nature and residential areas. There are 88 apartments distributed across eight departments. Approximately half of the apartments are adapted for people with dementia. 1 position(s). RESPONSIBILITIES You are part of the academic management team together with colleagues and representatives from Mälardalen University. At the facility, you collaborate with your management colleagues with the aim of developing Måsta äng for both employees and in planning and development work. You are responsible for your staff, work environment, finances, follow-up, development, change initiatives, information, and communication for the operations. In your role, you drive the operations forward to provide good health and care for our residents and work both strategically and long-term on operational development together with your employees. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with a strong ability to collaborate and build good relationships. You are a trustworthy leader who dares to challenge and has the ability to bring others along. You enjoy inspiring, creating participation, and being courageous when needed. You are independent, confident in yourself, and are a good listener. The demographic development in society places new, high demands on elderly care, and we are looking for someone who enjoys challenges. You have relevant academic education of 180 credit hours/120 points or alternative education or experience that the employer deems equivalent. For example, having worked in a management position in another organization with good results. If you have previous experience as a leader where you have worked preventatively with systematic work environment management and have also worked in some form of management role in health and care, preferably within a politically governed organization, that is seen as a plus. You are accustomed to using IT in your daily work and working digitally. If you have additionally supplemented your education with further leadership training focused on personal leadership, that is considered a merit. We look forward to receiving your application!
