We are now seeking a unit manager for two LSS housing facilities in the southwest – Verktumsgatan 20 and Tuppfjätsgatan 16. You will be responsible for approximately 20–25 employees and lead operations for people with acquired brain injuries and neuropsychiatric functional impairments (NPF). After expansion is completed at Tuppfjätsgatan 16 in the fall, the operations will serve 15 residents. We work based on the individual needs of our residents, with a focus on care, rehabilitation, and motivational support. A clear focus of the operations is to create meaningful daily activities that promote participation, independence, and quality of life for those living in our facilities. As a unit manager, you will be responsible for two housing facilities located near each other, which facilitates collaboration and provides good opportunities to be present in daily operations. The role also includes close collaboration with the healthcare team (HSL). About the role: The units at Verktumsgatan and Tuppfjätsgatan are two LSS housing facilities that need present and secure leadership. As a unit manager, you play a central role in developing and shaping the operations going forward. You need to focus on meeting the many needs of the residents and ensuring staff competence. Your focus should also be on matters related to staff working environment. As a manager, you need to promote good collaboration within the staff group. Your leadership needs to be present, clear, and responsive, with a focus on creating a sustainable work climate and building trust in the operations. As a unit manager, you have overall responsibility for operations, staff, working environment, and quality at the unit. To support your work, you will have a support pedagogist who assists staff in pedagogical work and also supports the manager in staffing matters. You will become part of an engaged and cohesive management group with other unit managers, as well as method developers and staffing coordinators. You will work in close dialogue with your manager colleagues as well as with the operations manager, HR, and support functions. Collaboration, dialogue, and care are in focus. Here we help each other create the best conditions for both our residents and our employees. Welcome with your application, become part of our meaningful work! Who are you? We are looking for someone who is a confident and experienced manager in LSS/healthcare and social services, who thrives when your leadership makes a difference. You have: Relevant higher education of at least 3 years. For example, as a nurse, social worker, behavioral scientist, or other education that the employer deems equivalent. At least 1 year of experience working as a unit manager in healthcare and social services, LSS, or similar operations – preferably in the municipal sector. Good knowledge in areas governed by the following laws: SoL (Social Services Act), LSS (Act on Support and Services for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments), and/or HSL (Health and Medical Services Act). It is meritorious if you have experience leading groups through change and if you have worked systematically with systematic work environment and improvement initiatives. It is also an advantage if you have experience with the target group of acquired brain injuries and NPF diagnoses. You create conditions for your staff to succeed in their assignments through positive feedback combined with clarity and structure. You can balance a professional approach with warmth and commitment. As a leader, you are present and relationship-building. You are good at building trust, work joy, and a sense of shared responsibility within a work group. You are willing to have difficult conversations when needed. You are solution-focused and stable even when facing challenges. Other Interviews will be held digitally via Teams on September 3rd and 4th. In this recruitment, we will not request a personal letter as an application document.
