The LSS Housing Section is part of the Care Administration and is responsible for implementing all housing decisions under the LSS (Act Concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). Currently, 12 unit managers work within the section, and we're now looking for you to become part of our team! Work Tasks As a unit manager within LSS, we offer you an exciting, independent, and varied job where good collaboration skills are required both internally and externally. You work in accordance with legislation, guidelines, and other governing documents as your foundation. Your role includes operational and personnel responsibility where you are expected to lead, plan, and develop the operations from a holistic perspective on quality, economy, and goal achievement. The work also includes external collaboration in the form of contact with users, relatives, and representatives. You are part of the section's management team and work closely with unit manager colleagues and the section manager. The section has group leaders who support the unit manager function but who also work as part of the unit staffing and work group. They support, among other things, scheduling, staffing matters, and some other administrative tasks at the units. We also offer central support functions in areas such as finance and HR. Qualifications The role requires: A bachelor's degree from a social work program or another higher education that the employer deems relevant for the assignment Experience with and knowledge of the target group within LSS and the intentions of LSS legislation Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing Experience using computers as a work tool Several years of management experience Experience working in a politically governed organization Class B driver's license Personal Qualities We seek a confident, reliable, and stable person who collaborates well with others and enjoys responsibility and working toward set goals.
