At the radiology clinic in Sundsvall/Härnösand, approximately 70 employees currently work in the professional categories of nursing assistants, radiologic technologists, nurses, medical secretaries, and physicians. The unit performs approximately 77,000 examinations per year. The unit offers conventional radiography, computed tomography, MRI, fluoroscopy, interventional procedures, nuclear medicine, and ultrasound.
The position is a permanent employment in your base profession, and the management assignment is limited to 2-4 years according to Region Västernorrland's leadership policy. As a manager in Region Västernorrland, you represent the employer and exercise leadership that is grounded in good self-awareness and characterized by honesty, openness, responsibility, and personal courage.
Responsibilities
In your role as unit manager for the physician group at the Radiology Clinic in Sundsvall, you lead, develop, and monitor operations in accordance with the unit's overall objectives. You have overall management responsibility for the physician unit's operations, personnel, and finances. You report directly to the operations manager and participate in the management team for Regional Radiology Operations. In this role, you will work in close collaboration with the two other unit managers at the radiology clinic in Sundsvall.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who:
- Has higher education relevant to the assignment or other education and/or experience that we consider equivalent
- Has very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
It is advantageous if you:
- Have good knowledge of English, both spoken and written
- Are a licensed physician
- Have management training
- Have management experience and/or experience in radiology operations or other healthcare work
