The Crime Prevention Department is responsible for Bolagsverket's crime prevention work. The assignment includes developing the agency's control system, identifying and managing deviations, and analyzing and addressing risks.
The Control Unit has a combined tactical and operational responsibility for the agency's control activities within the crime prevention area. The unit is responsible for identifying and managing risks and ensuring that controls are planned, prioritized, and implemented in an appropriate manner.
The unit also coordinates and develops internal crime prevention work with a special focus on registration activities and cooperates with other authorities and actors on issues concerning the review process.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Would you like to lead an operation that helps prevent economic crime and strengthen confidence in the business sector? As unit manager for the Control Unit, you will have a central role in Bolagsverket's crime prevention work. You will lead an operation that is under development and play an important role in the agency's ongoing work to prevent and counteract economic crime.
As unit manager, you are responsible for a unit with approximately 13 employees and have responsibility for operations, budget, personnel, and work environment. You plan, follow up, and develop the operations based on the department's goals and priorities, and ensure that the unit's assignment is carried out in an efficient and legally sound manner.
You create conditions for good cooperation, engagement, and learning, and lead the unit through change as the operations develop. Through present leadership, clear priorities, and close dialogue with your employees, you contribute to an operation characterized by good results and continuous improvement work.
You report to the department manager and are part of the department's management group, where you are collectively responsible for the department's development and results.
Bolagsverket continuously develops its crime prevention work. This means that you need to thrive in an operation where new working methods, processes, and assignments emerge and where you have the opportunity to influence the direction forward.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who have:
• an academic degree relevant to the assignment or other experience that the employer deems equivalent.
• several years of experience working as a manager and leader with personnel and results responsibility
• experience in developing organizational capabilities, competencies, and working methods within a new or growing operational area
• experience with development and change work within public operations
• very good ability to express yourself in Swedish and good ability to communicate in English, in speech and writing.
We consider it meritious if you have:
• experience leading operations with extensive elements of authority, where decisions are made with support of legislation and have direct consequences for individuals
• experience leading or coordinating work across organizational boundaries
• experience leading larger development projects
• experience representing an organization in external contexts
