We provide administrative support to the Skills Supply Committee. Your work tasks The assignment within municipal employment policy is undergoing change. To meet external requirements and the operation's development needs, we are now seeking a unit manager responsible for establishing and developing the operation within the employment market area. As a unit manager, you will have a central role in establishing and developing your unit, which will have a particular focus on the target group furthest from the labor market. The assignment is shaped gradually and you are responsible for, based on political guidelines and national steering documents, leading the establishment of the operation and ensuring sustainable implementation and operations. You have overall responsibility for the unit, which includes responsibility for employees, work environment, budget and management, as well as follow-up and quality work. During establishment, you lead the work together with your management colleagues and also contribute to the development of existing employment market operations. The role involves working in a changing environment where structure and content develop over time, and you should feel comfortable with the fact that the picture for the new unit is not yet completely clear. You are responsible for leading your unit and its staff through the change processes that arise from this work. You are part of a management team with two unit managers for employment, management colleagues in economic assistance, and an operations developer. The group is led by an operations manager, and together you work with a focus on the whole, collaboration, and shared results. Who are you? You have an academic education in, for example, social or behavioral science, management and organization, or equivalent. For this position, we see that you need to have solid knowledge of employment policy issues, have leadership experience from employment market initiatives, preferably within municipal operations, and previous experience of building new operations and leading major change processes. We consider it a merit if you have previous experience in a management role and leading employees. You have good knowledge of management, governance, and follow-up, and feel comfortable working with budgets, analysis, and forecasting. You are also well versed in relevant legislation such as the Social Services Act, the Local Government Act, and the Administrative Procedure Act. In your leadership, you are confident, enthusiastic, and engaging. Your way of being creates motivation in others for the assignment. You listen while being clear and daring to set demands. For you, it is self-evident to deliver according to agreements. You are goal and results-oriented, but also thorough and systematic. Your results focus is evident in how you think about what effects activities have. The activities you set up together with colleagues and employees lead to the goals. Your thoroughness is evident through the fact that you systematically and carefully ensure that the operation you build up complies with all regulations and requirements and that from the beginning there are adequate and clear procedures for the operation.
