Description
Do you want a meaningful management assignment where you get to be part of developing the future of care and welfare? We are looking for a confident, engaged and development-oriented unit manager for municipal health and medical care, HSL.
As a unit manager, you lead the operations with responsibility for personnel, working environment, finances, quality and patient safety. You work both strategically and in close proximity to operations and have an important role in the development of municipal primary care.
You are part of the Care Management Group and have close collaboration with the social care manager, fellow managers, employees and support functions.
Duties
As a unit manager you will:
Lead, plan, develop and follow up HSL operations.
Be responsible for operations, personnel, working environment and finances.
Have personnel responsibility for nurses, district nurses, occupational therapists, nursing assistants and caretakers, among others.
Work with quality, patient safety and systematic quality assurance.
Drive change initiatives within municipal health and medical care.
Contribute to the transition to Nearby Care.
Develop working methods, digital solutions and welfare technology.
Collaborate with primary care, regional authorities, agencies and other stakeholders.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
An academic degree in a relevant field.
Licensure as a nurse, occupational therapist, physiotherapist or other equivalent licensing.
Experience in leadership, preferably in care and welfare or public sector operations.
Good knowledge of the Working Environment Act and the Health and Medical Care Act, preferably also the Social Services Act.
Interest in operations development, change initiatives and digitalization.
Strategic ability, holistic perspective and good collaboration skills.
Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
Category B driving license.
You are confident, structured and have the ability to plan, prioritize and manage multiple processes simultaneously. You have sound judgment, build trust and contribute to a positive working climate.
Meritorious
It is meritorious if you have:
Experience in municipal health and medical care.
Experience working in a politically governed organization.
Experience in change management.
Experience in digitalization or welfare technology.
Experience in collaboration with regional authorities, primary care or other external stakeholders.
Terms
The position is a permanent full-time employment and a probationary period may occur. Great weight is placed on personal suitability. You need to provide a certificate from the criminal records register to be employed.
