DUTIES
Are you a skilled leader who enjoys helping others succeed? Do you have the ability to see the bigger picture without losing sight of the individual? We are seeking a manager who wants to take overall responsibility for the payments and appeals unit, with a focus on management, results, employee relations, and efficient handling of support and payments. The unit is responsible for processing and deciding on several types of support within the agricultural support process and also has responsibility for controller work within this area.
We work within many operational areas and are experts in handling many different regulations, and we also handle appeals of decisions within the field. A central part of the assignment is to ensure that support funds are paid out to recipients correctly and according to established processes.
The work involves many customer contacts and we also have many internal contacts. In your role as unit manager, you are responsible for ensuring that operations are conducted efficiently, with legal certainty, and in accordance with applicable regulations. You have overall responsibility for the unit's goals and results, as well as for ensuring that operations are reported in a reliable and fair manner. You also contribute to work with appropriation forecasts and the agency's targeted management of support. As a manager, you are responsible for creating good conditions for employees to succeed in their assignments.
Workload varies, and employees need support to achieve balanced workload distribution so they can perform at their best. You work toward good administration and operations characterized by results, trust, and development. You utilize and develop employees' competence and skills, and create opportunities for them to be successful in their assignments.
Personnel responsibilities also include results and development discussions, salary negotiations, and exit interviews. Your responsibilities as a manager also include ensuring a good physical, organizational, and social work environment and taking the measures needed to prevent illness and accidents.
The role also involves participating in the department's management group and other forums for strategic development work, work that can lead to changes in both organization and working methods.
QUALIFICATIONS
This position requires
• University degree
• Leadership experience
• Fluent Swedish (spoken and written)
It is advantageous if you have experience with
• Working in the public sector
• Working in a regulation-driven operation
• Reading and applying EU regulations
• Actively engaging in change management work
Salary form: Monthly salary.
Employment form: Permanent employment.
Duration and start date: By agreement.
Working hours: Daytime.
The placement location is Jönköping with the possibility to work part of your time remotely.
