The Digitalization and Development Department (DUA) drives the development of the Swedish Migration Agency's processes and capabilities through innovation and digitalization. Through coordinated process management and operational development, both with and without IT components, we work to increase efficiency and quality in the agency's operations. For the Information Management Unit within the Strategy and Information Management Section, we are now seeking a unit manager responsible for the agency's information management. The unit is responsible for, among other things, operational registration work in the general log, work in the administrative archive, and the agency's archive reporting. The unit is also responsible for managing the agency's document management system, Public 360. Key Responsibilities As a unit manager, you hold personnel, budget, operational, and work environment responsibility for a unit with approximately 10–15 employees. You lead and develop the unit's operations toward established goals and create conditions for efficient operations with high quality and a good work environment. In this role, you are expected to be a present and clear leader who creates engagement and participation. You provide employees with the conditions to develop in their roles and carry out their assignments in the best way possible. You recognize and strengthen employees' competence and motivation and contribute to a work climate characterized by trust, responsibility, and development. An important part of the assignment is to continue developing the unit's working methods and processes. You need to be able to combine the ongoing operational assignment with a long-term perspective and identify opportunities for development, efficiency improvements, and enhancement. You report to the section manager and are part of the section's management team. There, you actively contribute to the development of the section's overall operations and are expected to have a holistic perspective that extends beyond your own unit's area of responsibility. You must have: an academic degree of at least 180 credits in archival and information science, information management, systems science, law, or other education that the employer deems equivalent managerial experience with personnel, operational, and budget responsibility good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English It is meritorious if you have: experience with operational information management in the public sector several years of experience in records management, registration, archives, or document handling experience in developing and streamlining administrative processes experience in change management and operational development strong knowledge of the principle of public access to information, the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act, the Archives Act, and the Administrative Procedure Act experience with management or implementation of Public 360 or equivalent document and case management systems As a state employee at the Swedish Migration Agency, you need to have good judgment and high security and confidentiality awareness. In this role, it is particularly important that you can take responsibility, make well-considered assessments, and collaborate with others in a complex operational environment. Employment Terms Location: Norrköping Type of Employment: Permanent position with six months of probation. Start Date: By agreement. Working Hours: Full-time, office hours.
