The position is located in Forsheda/Bredaryd, and you will work from one of our offices at your chosen location. Your Assignment As unit manager for home care services in the care administration, you have overall responsibility for leading and developing your management area. You ensure that personnel, finances, and work processes function effectively and in line with the municipality's goals and values. You have personnel responsibility for approximately 20 employees, including coordinators, who support you in daily work with planning and staffing. Together, you drive the business forward and ensure efficiency and high quality in the work. As part of the management team, led by the operations manager, you contribute to the strategic development of home care services. You are further responsible for: ensuring quality and development through active improvement work based on laws and guidelines. leading and creating engagement by promoting a culture of trust, openness, and participation where employees develop and contribute to common goals. taking responsibility for finances and planning by managing budgets, optimizing resources, and structuring operations. driving strategic collaboration through management group work and cooperation with other unit managers, support functions, and internal and external stakeholders.
