Unit Manager for Physical and Occupational Therapy - Operating and Cardiac/Pulmonary

You will have a meaningful assignment in a business area under development, where your leadership will make a clear difference in the daily lives of both employees and patients. Job Responsibilities As a unit manager, you are responsible for approximately 25 employees who are occupational therapists and physical therapists/physiotherapists based at Universitetssjukhuset Örebro. The assignment involves both operational and strategic responsibility, with initial focus on building a new unit and establishing common structures and work methods. Your work includes personnel administration tasks such as planning staffing, recruitment, employee conversations and salary dialogues, as well as ongoing communication with employees. You are part of the management group for the Health Professions business area and have personnel and financial responsibility for the unit. Your role includes identifying and driving important change processes for the business. You work in close collaboration with other unit managers, the business manager, care administrators, and other units within the health professions business area. The role includes responsibility for the work environment in collaboration with other unit managers. Clinical work will be included in the role to some extent by agreement with the business manager. Travel within the region may occur. Qualifications We are seeking someone who is a licensed occupational therapist or physical therapist/physiotherapist and has experience from your profession within hospital care. Experience in management work and/or business development as well as experience in change management is required. If you have academic further education (master's degree), that is a merit. We also see previous management experience as a merit, as well as management/leadership training. Experience from work within operating activities such as surgery, intensive care, cardiac and pulmonary clinics is also a merit, and if you have experience with the Cosmic journal system and/or the Heroma personnel administration system.
