We are now seeking a confident, clear, and present Unit Manager for our operations in Eskilstuna. We are looking for someone who wants to lead and develop the business with a focus on people, quality, and stable traffic delivery.
About the Role
As a Unit Manager, you have overall responsibility for your unit and lead and develop the driver group with a coaching and hands-on leadership style. You are responsible for personnel, staffing balance, work environment, and competence development, as well as monitoring the unit's finances, quality, and traffic delivery.
You work closely with the operations and are expected to lead by example, create clarity, and ensure that the company's values, goals, and working methods are well anchored in the organization.
In the role, you are responsible for, among other things:
Lead, coach, and develop employees within the unit
Ensure proper staffing balance and take responsibility for recruitment, onboarding, and termination of employment
Monitor the unit's budget, costs, and relevant key metrics
Monitor traffic delivery and ensure that agreed requirements and quality targets are met
Work with sick leave, rehabilitation, and preventive measures
Conduct employee conversations and plan for employees' continued development
Plan and follow up on mandatory training
Work actively with quality, environment, and work environment
Build an inclusive culture with strong team spirit, clarity, and engagement
When needed, support the business operationally during disruptions or other acute situations
We Are Looking for You
Have experience with personnel responsibility and operational management
Are a confident and clear leader with the ability to coach and develop others
Have strong communication skills and can adapt your message to your audience
Have experience with work environment issues, rehabilitation, and personnel matters
We would like you to have experience in passenger transport or traffic management. If you additionally have experience in environmental and quality work, as well as a D driving license with valid YKB or taxi driver certification, that is a merit.
