Job Description Would you like to lead our housing units with special services in the Hisingen district? Are you a leader who sees opportunities, brings joy, and celebrates successes? Then we have the right assignment for you! We are now seeking a new unit manager for our management team. As a unit manager, you work to create a safe and developmental environment for both residents and staff. Your main responsibilities are to lead, organize, and develop the operations in accordance with applicable legislation, objectives, guidelines, and within financial frameworks. The position includes personnel, budget, and workplace environment responsibility for the operational area. You are expected to be active in the area's development work and contribute your knowledge and experience in our management meetings. We offer you exciting and developmental work together with knowledgeable and experienced colleagues and staff. The management group consists of 9 unit managers and one methods developer. Within the management group, we work with housing units with special services and daily activities. As a new member of our team, you will have a mentor in the form of a senior colleague. You need at least 2-3 years of management experience with responsibility for budget, personnel and workplace environment, and operational development. You are well familiar with current legislation in work with people with disabilities. You also need experience working in operations focused on autism. To succeed in this role, you remain calm and confident in pressured and difficult situations and can make well-founded decisions even under time pressure. You communicate clearly both verbally and in writing, and adapt your message to your audience and situation. You have the ability to see your work in a broader context and understand how it affects and is affected by other parts of the organization. You collaborate with others on overarching issues and consider different perspectives. You plan, organize, and prioritize your work efficiently and ensure that tasks are completed on time.
