The ambulance service has a unique societal function consisting of providing prehospital emergency care around the clock, where employees meet patients of all ages who have suffered acute illness or injury. The ambulance service is part of acute care in Region Norrbotten, which brings together both road-based and air ambulance services as well as the region's emergency departments and IVAK units. Ambulance operations are present in all 14 municipalities in the region. We are looking for We are looking for someone with a higher education or university degree in a relevant field and experience from healthcare. If you have previous experience in a leadership role, such as manager or team leader, that is a merit. We also view experience from ambulance services positively. What you will be working with As a unit manager, you are responsible for the Luleå ambulance station with approximately 35 employees who staff 3 24-hour vehicles and one daytime vehicle. Your duties include responsibility for operations, personnel, and budget, as well as delegated workplace environment responsibility. Your work includes contacts with other operations within Region Norrbotten as well as with external partners. You report directly to the operations manager for ambulance services and are part of their management group, where you are expected to contribute to the entire operation's development and goal achievement. You work closely with the unit manager for the ambulance station in Boden as well as with the unit managers for other ambulance stations in the region. You will be involved in building the ambulance services of the future. Working hours are full-time, daytime. Selection and interviews are ongoing and the position can be filled before the application deadline.
