To better meet residents' needs and develop more accessible, close, and cohesive care, we are dividing elderly care into two specializations. In this role, you will be a unit manager in elderly care with a special focus on housing for seniors – a key position in our continued development work. RESPONSIBILITIES As a unit manager for special housing for the elderly, you are tasked with driving, developing, and following up on the operation based on set goals together with staff. You are responsible for operations, finances, personnel, and work environment. You handle both strategic and operational matters related to your area of operation. You lead and distribute the daily work for your staff. You are present in your leadership and have the ability to engage, motivate, and strengthen your employees while providing them with support and guidance. You identify needs for competency development, changed working methods, and procedures. Planning and prioritization are a natural part of your work, as is maintaining set timelines. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with an academic degree as a social worker, behavioral scientist, nurse, or other education that the employer deems relevant. You have good communicative skills in Swedish, both spoken and written. You have previous experience working as a manager with responsibility for operations, finances, personnel, and work environment. We would like to see that you have good knowledge of relevant legislation. We consider it desirable that you have experience working in politically governed operations as well as development and change management. We would also like to see that you have experience with relevant IT systems for us. It is desirable if you have a driver's license category B, as travel occurs in the role. As a manager, you are experienced in leading and motivating employees and in ensuring the conditions required to reach operational goals together. You also have the ability to create engagement and participation in the work. You are attentive and good at communicating and create good cooperation with employees, other managers, and internal and external parties. You are independent and structured in your work and identify and organize the resources needed to perform tasks that lead to results. Furthermore, we see that you have a good ability to adapt your perspective and approach when conditions change and act without ego during transitions. Salary form: Monthly salary.
