Höör Municipality is seeking an engaged unit manager who wants to lead and develop operations at Björkens Dementia Centers. At Björkens Dementia Centers, all services for people with dementia are gathered in one place. Here you will find day activities, short-term housing, and specialized residential care.
Björkens Dementia Centers is within walking distance of the railway station with good commuting options.
Municipal operations in specialized housing are undergoing transformation. The transition to Close Care and the new Social Services Act demands collaboration, accessibility, and quality.
As a unit manager, you have a central role in, through active systems leadership:
• developing work methods that support Close Care and the new Social Services Act
• creating structures for collaboration between professions and services
• ensuring person-centered care based on individual needs
You work strategically and systematically, have a holistic perspective, and the ability to translate goals into concrete results. You are responsible for operations, finances, personnel, and work environment. Through clear systems leadership, you lead, plan, follow up, and develop operations based on politically established goals and strategic priorities, with a focus on overall quality and long-term sustainability.

You are part of the management team together with other unit managers within elderly care and healthcare, where you jointly drive development initiatives, create alignment, and work to achieve operational goals.
The operation has access to management support and several strategic and professional support functions, such as operations developers, SAS, MAS, and MAR, which contribute to quality assurance, operations development, and provide close support in your management role. We have an open climate and a strong culture of collaboration. Here you have the opportunity to develop sustainable leadership with room for both operations development and reflection.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who has:
• relevant higher education or university degree, or
• other education combined with work experience that the employer deems equivalent
• good knowledge of the legislation governing the operation
• experience working with IT-based operations and planning systems
• a clear task and citizen focus and a salutogenic approach
• good ability to express yourself clearly in speech and writing in Swedish
• B-driver's license
In this role, you have budget responsibility, which requires both efficiency and strategic thinking about how the operation can be developed and conducted within given financial frameworks.
We consider it meritorious if you have:
• previous experience in management within specialized housing
• experience working with people with cognitive disorders
