The Social Affairs Department is responsible for providing support, care, and assistance to people at different stages of life. We work based on the individual's needs and offer services built on several laws, including the Social Services Act (SoL), the Act on Support and Services to Persons with Certain Disabilities (LSS), and the Health and Medical Care Act. This can involve providing elderly people with a secure and meaningful everyday life, supporting people with disabilities, or being there for children, youth, and adults in difficult life situations. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Do you want to lead and develop work within personal assistance and functional support? As a unit manager in functional support, you play a key role in creating conditions for people with disabilities to live an active and independent life. You lead engaged employees and drive development toward a business where quality, participation, and security are central. As a unit manager in personal assistance and functional support, you are responsible for leading and developing the operations in accordance with the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act on Support and Services to Persons with Certain Disabilities (LSS). You have responsibility for personnel, budget, and working environment, and work both strategically and operatively to ensure a lawful and professional business. The role includes, among other things: - Lead, allocate, and develop work within the unit in accordance with the municipality's goals, values, and legislation. - Take responsibility for personnel, recruitment, introduction, competence development, and working environment. - Ensure that operations are conducted with good quality, legal certainty, and high user satisfaction. - Take responsibility for the unit's finances, planning, and follow-up. - Develop working methods and approaches for increased participation, self-determination, and quality in services. - Collaborate with users, family members, employees, and other actors to create wholeness in support. - Participate in the department's development work and contribute to the business reaching its goals. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with a university degree in social work, behavioral science, or other education that the employer deems equivalent. You have experience in leadership, preferably in LSS operations or functional support. You have good knowledge of social legislation, particularly SoL and LSS, and experience with personnel responsibility and operational management. As a person, you are confident, clear, and present in your leadership. You create engagement, trust, and participation in the work group and have a strong desire to drive development forward. We also see that you have: - University education in social work, behavioral science, or equivalent field - Experience in leadership and personnel responsibility - Knowledge of LSS, SoL, and applicable legislation - Experience in operational management and follow-up - Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing Do you want to lead an engaged team that makes a real difference every day for people with disabilities?
