The Care and Social Services Administration provides services, support, care, and assistance to the elderly and people with disabilities, and is responsible for official duties according to applicable legislation. The administration operates activities within elderly care, LSS (Swedish Disability Services Act), social psychiatry, health and medical care, family support, and official duties. All work is carried out with the resident in focus based on our core values: respect, participation, trust, and security. The Alarm and Night Group is responsible for alarm management and supervision services 24/7. The operation consists of an alarm group working day and evening shifts and a night group that primarily carries out planned interventions. The operation also includes security coordinators responsible for installation, monitoring, and development of safety alarms. The group consists of approximately 22 employees who together work toward safe, secure, and high-quality care. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Do you want to be a present leader who makes a difference, both for your employees and for those we serve? We are now looking for a unit manager for night and alarm operations who wants to take full responsibility for the operation and contribute to safe, efficient, and high-quality care and assistance 24/7. In this role, you'll have broad responsibility for operations, finances, and personnel. You'll lead approximately 22 employees within the night and alarm group as well as security coordination, and you'll also be responsible for elderly care's administrative functions. You'll be part of the elderly care management group and work with other managers to drive the development of elderly care forward. You report to the area manager. As a unit manager for night and alarm operations, you're responsible for leading, developing, and ensuring high quality in the operation. The role also includes ensuring good cooperation with other units, care providers, and external actors to create a cohesive and secure care chain. The assignment is dynamic and may develop over time as the operation's needs evolve. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for an experienced and committed leader with a genuine interest in developing both employees and operations. You have: • University education of at least 180 credits; a degree in care and social services is a merit. • Experience in a management role with responsibility for personnel, budget, and operations. • Documented experience from elderly care. • A category B driver's license (to be able to visit operations and employees). • A good ability to cooperate with different professional groups, units, and external actors to create a cohesive care chain. • Knowledge of laws and guidelines governing care and social services, such as the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Health and Medical Care Act (HSL). • Documentation experience and good Swedish in speech and writing. Meritorious experience: • Experience from night and alarm operations. • Basic knowledge of welfare technology, such as digital tools for care and social services. • Experience from a politically governed organization. • Leadership training. As a person, you have a good ability to create structure, drive operations forward, and at the same time be responsive to both employees and care recipients. You can switch between day-to-day work and long-term development, and you ensure that operations run smoothly. You have good problem-solving skills and can act even when unexpected situations arise. You handle stress constructively and can lead with calm and clarity. You are inclusive and visible in the operation and create a culture where employees feel seen and motivated.
