Job Responsibilities As a unit manager in shared leadership, you and your unit manager colleague are responsible for personnel, operations, and finances at our urgent care clinic and emergency department. The work group consists of approximately 60 employees comprised of care assistants and nurses. To support your work, you have four section leaders who handle much of the daily planning and staffing. Närakuten is an adult medical clinic that is open day and evening, every day of the year. Patients of all ages with all types of complaints come here, with a focus on adults. Patients are assessed and referred to the appropriate level of care when needed. The Emergency Department cares for patients with acute conditions such as heart attacks, strokes, sepsis, and intoxications. We are a small enough operation to see the big picture, but large enough to offer breadth and development. We work closely with other units in the care chain and have a strong culture of collaboration, responsibility, and patient focus. We believe that security is the foundation for development. It is a merit if you have experience in round-the-clock care, acute care, and have worked with development and improvement initiatives. You need to have basic knowledge in finance, labor law, and systematic workplace health and safety work. Our work is governed by documents that are often in Swedish, so you need to have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
