The Social Services Sector includes four activities: assisted living/municipal health and medical care, individual and family care, regular housing/personal assistance, and functional disabilities. The Assisted Living operation needs capacity to handle work surges that may arise from absences, vacancies, or challenges within quality and working conditions in the operation, as well as drive business development. You will be part of the management team for Assisted Living together with 11 unit managers and you report to the operations manager. As a manager in Stenungsund, you will be offered various competency-enhancing initiatives in the form of management training and mentoring programs. JOB DUTIES As a resource manager, your mission is to ensure continuity and quality by temporarily leading and supporting operations facing particular challenges. During periods when you are not covering absences or high workload, you will work more with business development. The role encompasses three main assignment areas: • Operational support - You cover for absences or high workload as well as challenges related to quality and working conditions. • Quality support - You support operations in addressing challenges within quality and working conditions, with a focus on sustainable solutions. You can also serve as a mentor when introducing new managers. • Development support - You are a qualified support to unit managers and the operations manager in identifying and driving change regarding improvements in processes, routines, and working methods in the area, as well as identifying needs and conditions for the transition to the new Social Services Act, which involves coordinating and leading initiatives to adapt assisted living to the new social services law, which focuses on being more preventive, accessible, and knowledge-based. When you work as a unit manager, you have ordinary responsibility for the operation, budget, and working conditions for the area you manage. We have good support from the HR and Finance units. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with an academic degree in social work, care and support, or other education that the employer considers equivalent. You need to have previous experience as a manager and you have documented experience of managerial assignments in municipal care, support, or service operations. You have good IT skills and the ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. A Category B driving license is required. We see it as an advantage if you have education or experience in change management, quality work, or management systems. It is also an advantage if you have experience in Assisted Living. It is positive if you are knowledgeable in schedule planning. As a manager, you are clear and confident in your role. You are clear in your communication style and adapt your communication to the recipient, target audience, and situation. You understand the importance of cooperating with others to achieve results. You take responsibility for your tasks and drive the work forward. Furthermore, this means that you are development-oriented, have a flexible approach, and can work with different and changing assignments. You should also have an understanding of how your own operation affects the overall organization. You see value in being part of a management team to create a common vision and objectives for the operation.
