JOB DUTIES We are now looking for you who want to be part of continuing to develop the operations within LSS and be part of our team. The team currently consists of 3 unit managers and 2 administrators. Work as a unit manager within LSS is varied, rich in content, and meaningful. As a unit manager, you are responsible for operations, personnel, budget, and work environment issues, which requires you to have the ability to see the whole picture and can work flexibly. Your placement is in Malung and you work closely with other unit managers within both LSS and other operations within the administration. Within your area of responsibility are personal assistance and daily activities. The task as a unit manager involves leading and coordinating the operations that implement measures based on LSS (the law on special support and services for certain people with disabilities). Within the financial framework, you will conduct efficient operations with good quality where the user is in focus. In your role, you coach your employees and are their closest support in daily work. An important part of your work is to create conditions for a good work environment and contribute to continuous development of the operations. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who has a coaching and solution-oriented approach. You are a role model for your staff and through your personal confidence, clarity, and ability to motivate and develop others, you create active employee engagement and a good work climate. You are a self-directed manager with a structured way of working, you are interested in leading and developing the operations and employees within given frameworks. To succeed in the role, it is important that you have good collaboration skills and enjoy working in a team. To meet the requirements for the role of unit manager for LSS, we prefer that you have a higher education in social work or other education that the employer considers equivalent. It is meritorious if you have several years of experience as a leader within LSS operations or within healthcare and elderly care. You need to be able to express yourself well both orally and in writing in Swedish and be accustomed to documenting. Experience with working in different systems is meritorious. Salary form: Monthly salary. Salary range: The salary for the position is currently within the range of 42,000-53,000 kronor per month, based on 2025 salary levels.
