JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Do you want to help develop sustainable water and sewer systems for the future? We are now expanding our water and sewer operations and seeking an engaged and development-oriented unit manager for our water and sewer network. We are looking for someone with drive, curiosity, and a solution-focused approach who wants to take responsibility for our water and sewer network. With us, you will have a key role in ensuring a secure and sustainable water and sewer supply today and for future generations, working alongside approximately 8 dedicated employees.
As Unit Manager for Water and Sewer Network Operations, you are responsible for the operation, maintenance, and development of the municipality's water and sewer pipeline network. You also manage subscriber issues, work related to water and sewer fees, and the water and sewer perspective in detailed planning as Höganäs Municipality develops and grows. You lead and develop the operations with a focus on quality and efficiency, develop your employees, and create a good work environment. You have personnel, budget, and workplace responsibility and work closely with both employees, other managers, and external actors and authorities. You will be part of a management group with the Water and Sewer Manager and Operations Manager.
The role involves driving strategic issues while ensuring the procurement function for operations and maintenance. You thrive in a role where you combine operational work with strategic responsibility and drive and coordinate development and investment projects. You are communicative, solution-oriented, and experienced in managing multiple parallel tasks. You have good administrative skills and experience with digital systems and hold a B-class driver's license. QUALIFICATIONS
· You have relevant higher education in areas such as water and sewer systems, civil engineering, or technical fields
· You have experience with water and sewer operations, preferably in network management
· You have solid knowledge of water and sewer system operations and maintenance
· You have previous leadership experience and have served in a management group
· You have experience with construction contracts for infrastructure projects
· You are structured, solution-oriented, and have a strategic perspective
· You have strong communication skills and thrive in collaboration with others
· You can express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing
· War placement and security clearance may be required
It is a merit if you have experience from public sector operations.
