We are seeking an engaged and driven Unit Manager for Karl-Johansgården short-term residential care facilities. This is a replacement recruitment where you will take over leadership of a well-functioning and self-directed team that is undergoing a generational transition. About the Role
As Unit Manager, you will have overall responsibility for a personnel team of approximately 25 care staff members and 2 nurses. You will be part of the HSL Short-Term management team and report to the Operations Manager. The role involves both personnel and budget responsibility as well as responsibility for the work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, develop, and manage a well-functioning personnel team
Recruit new staff members in connection with the ongoing generational transition
Develop collaboration with the adjacent short-term residential facility, Rosengården
Manage budget and work environment
Be a present and coaching leader who fosters engagement within the personnel team
Participate in the management team for the HSL Short-Term operations area
Requirements
Licensed nurse
Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
Good computer skills
Meritorious
Previous experience in leadership or management roles
Experience with the Lifecare system
We would like you to have an interest in leadership, but previous management experience is not a requirement – what matters most is your willingness and ability to lead and develop others.
