As a unit manager, you lead staff who make many decisions at a fast pace and with high quality. You and your team focus on collaboration, workplace learning, and efficiency improvement. Close leadership, change, sustainable workplace As a unit manager, you are the leader closest to employees and operations. You are responsible for leading and driving daily work based on the department's mission and goals, where the state's core values permeate your work. Through your leadership, you communicate clear expectations, follow up on goals, and provide your employees with the right conditions to take their responsibility. You have personnel responsibility as well as results and follow-up responsibility for the teams in your unit. Your unit consists of approximately 20 employees working within sickness insurance and based in Borås. Through close leadership, you create the predictability, security, and sustainability necessary for employees to take their responsibility and meet the need for change. You create understanding of context, direction, and the objectives set by the department and develop the plans your operations need. As a unit manager, you are a support to the area manager and participate in the area's management group consisting of 8 managers, HR support, and an administrative assistant, where you contribute your expertise and commitment. You adapt and exercise your leadership in a way that creates conditions for employees to use their judgment and competence. This position involves handling classified information, which requires high standards for proper handling. Therefore, it is important that you have strong security awareness.
