JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Unit managers in the Social Services have responsibility for operations, budget, and personnel within their area of responsibility. The work also includes creating conditions for good relationships with service users, relatives, other activities, and collaboration partners within and outside social services. You will work in a team with a unit manager and a shared operations manager. The implementation varies based on case workers' decisions. You have support functions such as an economist, HR, and a staffing unit. QUALIFICATIONS A degree in social care programs or other relevant higher education is desirable, and experience as a manager of Personal Assistance and complex cases is a merit. Great importance is placed on personal suitability and experience in work leadership within municipal operations. You should enjoy working closely with other people, have good communication skills, be responsible/independent, be open to development, and be able to have both a holistic and detailed perspective. Good collaboration skills are highly valued, as is interest in further education with applicable methods in the field. A Class B driver's license for manual transmission is a requirement. Anyone offered employment must submit an extract from the register maintained according to the Act (1998:620) on Criminal Records, with requirements in the Act (2010:479) on background checks of personnel performing certain services for children with disabilities.
