Unit Director of Interoperability

About the Position As a unit director in the Interoperability Section, you will be responsible for managing a unit of approximately 15 employees. You will lead the unit's operations, participate in the section's management group alongside your fellow unit directors, and report to the section director. The role includes responsibility for personnel, operations, and budget. Your most important task as a unit director with us is to create conditions for your employees, both as individuals and as a team, to work and develop in the right direction. The role involves many contact points, and you will network both internally and externally to drive the operations forward. You work closely with your fellow managers and provide and receive support from one another. The Interoperability Section is responsible for developing and maintaining national common specifications for healthcare, dental care, social services, and LSS activities, as well as providing support to increase the use of these specifications. The section is also responsible for coordinating information governance and information architecture for the authority's digital services and standardization work within the sector. This work is central to the national digital infrastructure that E-hälsomyndigheten develops, and the section therefore supports many other parts of the authority in their work. The section consists of three units and a total of just over 40 employees. The section is divided into three units: Information Management, National Release Center, and Coordinated Standardization. We are currently recruiting unit directors for two of these units. About You We are looking for someone who is confident and clear in your leadership. You are collaboration-oriented and build relationships at all levels of the organization. You lead through change and bring ideas on how the operations and individuals can develop. In your change management, you are strategic and take a holistic perspective. It is self-evident for you to take responsibility for both your own work and for decisions made. We are looking for someone who has: an academic degree of at least 180 credits (120 credits in the previous system) in a relevant field current management experience with responsibility for operations, personnel, and budget within healthcare and social services and digitalization excellent ability to communicate in speech and writing in Swedish. It is advantageous for the position if you have: experience as a manager in the public sector experience with interoperability and standardization within the healthcare and social services sector at the national level experience working in the healthcare and social services sector experience collaborating with sector actors at the national level.
