Are you an engaged leader who creates conditions for others to grow and develop? Are you driven by the desire to make a real impact on society? Then this role could be for you.
About the Position
As a unit manager in the Interoperability Section, you will lead a unit with approximately 15 employees. You will manage the unit's operations, participate in the section's management group with your fellow unit managers, and report to the section manager. The role includes personnel, operations, and budget responsibility.
Your most important task as a unit manager with us is to create conditions for your employees—both as individuals and as a team—to work and develop in the right direction. The role involves many points of contact, and you will network both internally and externally to drive operations forward. We are an organization in growth and change, and you are a key person in creating confidence in the direction ahead. You work closely with your management colleagues and you provide and receive support from one another.
The Interoperability Section is responsible for national common specifications for healthcare, dental care, social services, and LSS activities, and for providing support to increase the use of these specifications. The section also manages information governance and information architecture coordination for the agency's digital services, as well as standardization work within the sector. This work is central to the national digital infrastructure that the E-health Authority is developing, and the section therefore also supports many other parts of the authority. The section consists of three units and a total of just over 40 employees. The section is divided into three units: Information Management, National Release Center, and Coordinated Standardization.
We are currently seeking unit managers for two of these units.
About You
We are looking for someone who is confident and clear in your leadership. You are collaboration-oriented and build relationships at all levels of the organization. You lead through change and bring ideas on how operations and individuals can develop. In your change management, you are strategic and take a holistic perspective. It goes without saying that you take responsibility for both your own work and for decisions made.
We are looking for you who have:
an academic degree of at least 180 credits (120 points in the previous system) in a relevant field
current management experience with responsibility for operations, personnel, and budget for activities within healthcare, care, and welfare, as well as digitalization
very good ability to communicate in speech and writing in Swedish.
It is an advantage for the position if you have:
experience as a manager in the public sector
experience with interoperability and standardization in the healthcare, care, and welfare sector at the national level
experience working in the healthcare, care, and welfare sector
experience collaborating with sector actors at the national level.
What Do We Offer?
The E-health Authority is a growing agency and we drive the development of national digital infrastructure within healthcare, care, and welfare. We create conditions for digital services and solutions for both private individuals and professionals in healthcare, pharmacies, and social services. We work to make health data available throughout the care chain.
We have approximately 600 employees in Kalmar and Stockholm. With us, there is an opportunity to make a difference in an innovative environment with pleasant and competent colleagues.
