About the Position
As a Unit Manager for Digital Development, you lead 15-20 systems developers, database developers, and test specialists, creating conditions for your employees to deliver value in our projects. You have personnel, operational, and budget responsibility for the unit. You report to the Section Manager and are part of the section's management group, which consists of 4 units.
In your role as Unit Manager with us, your primary responsibility is to create conditions for your employees, both as individuals and as a team, to work and develop in the right direction. We are an organization in growth and change, and you are a key person in creating confidence in the path forward. You work closely with your peer managers and provide and receive support from one another.
You belong to the Pharmaceutical Division and the Digital Development Section. We are approximately 150 employees within digital development, service development, and investigations. The division is responsible for providing services that enable safe and cost-effective pharmaceutical management for healthcare, pharmacies, and residents. We also contribute to the eHealth Agency's mission to drive the development of the national digital infrastructure.
About You
We are looking for someone who is confident and clear in your leadership. You are collaboration-oriented and build relationships at all levels of the organization. You lead through change and bring ideas on how operations and individuals can develop. In your change management, you are strategic and take a holistic perspective. It is self-evident for you to take responsibility for both your own work and decisions made.
We are looking for someone with:
- An academic degree of at least 180 credits (120 points under the old system) in a relevant area
- Current and several years of management experience with responsibility for operations, personnel, and budget
- Several years of experience as a leader or manager of agile software development teams
- Very good ability to communicate in speech and writing in Swedish
It is meritorious for the position if you have:
- Experience with work related to healthcare, for example development of digital healthcare services
- Experience as a systems developer
- Experience working in the public sector or other regulated operations
- Experience working with agile delivery models
- Experience presenting material to small and large groups
