We are now strengthening our organization with a newly established unit that will drive and develop the agency's strategic support within GRC as well as our central continuity work. Here you will have a key role in shaping the structure, establishing common frameworks, and ensuring our ability to maintain critical deliveries in a changing world. Close leadership, change, sustainable workplace As a unit manager, you are the manager closest to the employees and operations. You are responsible for leading and driving daily work based on the department's mission and goals, where state-based values permeate your work. Through your leadership, you convey clear expectations, follow up on goals, and give your employees the right conditions to take responsibility. You have personnel responsibility as well as results and follow-up responsibility for your unit. You also represent the Swedish Social Insurance Agency in external collaborations. Your unit is under development and consists of employees who work with support for regulatory compliance, continuity, and preparedness matters. All employees are based in Sundsvall. Through close leadership, you create the predictability, security, and sustainability necessary for employees to take responsibility and meet the need for change. You create understanding of context, direction, and the goals the department has set, and you develop the plans your operation needs. As a unit manager, you are a support for the area manager and you are part of the area's management team where you contribute your expertise and commitment. You adapt and exercise your leadership in a way that creates conditions for employees to use their judgment and competence. The position involves handling classified information, which places high demands on proper handling. Therefore, it is important that you, who will work with us, have high security awareness. It is a job for someone who wants to take responsibility. We are looking for you who has a university degree or experience and qualifications that can be assessed as equivalent has experience with structured security work, preferably with a focus on governance, risk, continuity, and regulatory compliance (GRC) has good leadership ability promotes the professional and personal development of others works to achieve goals and results, follows up on the effects of own and others' activities has a systematic approach to work collaborates effectively with others to achieve common goals has good self-awareness and is stable as a person, promotes a trust-building work environment promotes mutual dialogue, is responsive and adapts communication according to needs and situation has a driver's license for a passenger car. It is meriting if you have experience with information and cybersecurity frameworks, for example CIS Controls or ISO27000 have experience in driving and developing systematic continuity work (Business Continuity Management) and risk management have experience with systematic risk management have experience with operational leadership, preferably within similar operations have experience with coaching leadership and building or leading an operation in change have experience planning your operations in collaboration with manager colleagues at a distance have good understanding of the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's mission.
