Description We are now seeking a Unit Manager Information and Security who wants to be part of this from the beginning and build up a unified function for security, IT, information, and digital development. This role is perfect for you if you want to combine leadership with operational development and enjoy creating structure, coordination, and clear working methods in a new organization. As Unit Manager Information and Security, you are responsible for leading and developing the unit. The unit brings together expertise in security, IT and system administration, GIS, information management, records management, and archives. The unit consists of 11 employees in various specialist and development roles. An important part of the assignment is to create a functional structure for the unit's broad areas of responsibility and to ensure close support to the company's operations. The security area is under development and places increasing demands on operations. You therefore have an important role in developing the security work while finding a good balance between requirements, risk, and operational needs. Digitalization and the use of AI are also important areas of development going forward. Responsibilities As Unit Manager Information and Security, you have overall responsibility for the unit's operational areas and lead the work of creating appropriate working methods, structure, and coordination. Within the security area, the unit is responsible for governance and support in information security, physical protection, personnel security, and crisis preparedness, as well as ensuring that operations comply with relevant laws and regulations. You are also responsible for the IT environment and administrative systems, as well as for the management and development of business-specific systems. This means ensuring availability, functionality, and information security based on operational needs and driving digitalization initiatives and development projects. The unit is also responsible for GIS and geodata, including management of the GIS platform and geodatabases, as well as access to current map data and utility network information. Within information management, the unit is responsible for document and information handling, records management, and archives, as well as developing digital working methods for the entire lifecycle of information. As a manager, you lead the unit's specialists and create conditions for coordinated and operationally focused work. Qualifications We are looking for someone with academic education or other education and experience that the employer deems equivalent, as well as several years of experience leading or developing operations within areas such as security, crisis and continuity management, information security, IT, or operational development. You have experience leading specialists and driving development and change initiatives. You have a good understanding of digitalization, information security, and IT-related matters and the ability to translate requirements and needs into functioning working methods. It is advantageous to have experience from socially critical operations as well as knowledge within security, IT and system administration, or information management. You don't need to be a specialist in all the unit's areas. More important is that you have confident leadership, a good understanding of the importance of these areas, and the ability to create direction and coordination.
