HR Unit Manager, Welfare Gävle

In your role, you will develop systematic competence development within Welfare Gävle, among other things. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As unit manager, you will lead the unit which currently consists of HR consultants, a practice coordinator, a rehabilitation coordinator, and a scheduling and planning team. You have a central role in developing and building systematic competence development for Welfare Gävle in close collaboration with unit staff members, the HR manager, managers within the organization, and other partners. In this role, you are expected to drive development to strengthen close and proactive support to our core operations. We work cross-functionally and with a holistic perspective. In your role, you work systematically with work environment, quality, economics, and development. Together with your employees, you will set goals and activities for each year, as this provides us with direction, engagement, and meaningfulness as well as the tools to succeed and learn. The unit is part of Operations and Development Support and you will be part of the management team for the operation. There you contribute to a holistic perspective and cross-functional collaborations. Together we work towards our established goals. You will work closely with, among others: • The HR manager within the sector, as we have a matrix organization. • Managers within Welfare Gävle. • Partners in other sectors. We are looking for someone with: • Several years of experience in management and leadership, with responsibility for operations, employees, and work environment. • Experience initiating, leading, and implementing change and development work. • Experience with personnel and work environment issues. • A relevant academic degree or other education combined with experience that the employer deems equivalent for this position. It is advantageous if you have: • Experience supporting managers. • Experience working in a politically governed organization. Employment type: Permanent employment. Duration: Permanent.
