We are now seeking a unit manager for one of our nursing units. Today we are four unit managers led by our results unit manager. As one of our colleagues has moved on to another management role within our municipality, we are now seeking a management colleague for one of the nursing units. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a unit manager in health and medical care, you will have a central role in leading and developing one of our nursing units. You will work closely with your employees to ensure high quality care and create a safe and meaningful everyday life for our clients. You will be part of an engaged management group where collaboration and support are prioritized. You will be part of the unit's management group together with the results unit manager and unit manager colleagues. Your responsibilities as unit manager include employees, operations, working environment, financial responsibility, and quality assurance. You will have employee responsibility for a group of registered nurses. Because our unit performs health and medical care in all result areas within the administration, collaboration and communication are key words in our unit and daily work. Together we work to achieve our set goals as a whole. In Enköping Municipality, management and leadership have been a priority for several years. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has: • registration as a registered nurse • experience of management or leadership assignments in health and medical care • a B-driver's license You are a confident, clear, and development-oriented leader who creates engagement, participation, and good conditions for your employees to succeed. The ability to lead in change and adapt working methods based on the needs and conditions of the operation is important in the role. To succeed as a unit manager, good judgment, structure, and the ability to prioritize in a day when many issues need to be handled simultaneously are required. You collaborate well with others, build trusting relationships, and communicate in a clear and attentive manner. With a holistic perspective, you contribute to development and cooperation, always with a focus on quality, patient safety, and the operation's best interests. You work based on the operation's mandate, goals, and applicable legislation. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Employment form: Permanent employment.
