The Social Services Department is responsible for providing support, care and assistance to people in different stages of life. We work based on the individual's needs and offer services that are built on several laws, including the Social Services Act (SoL), the Act on Support and Services for Certain People with Disabilities (LSS) and the Health and Medical Care Act. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Would you like to lead and develop work within disability support? As a unit manager in disability support, you will have a key role in creating conditions for people with disabilities to live an active and independent life. You lead engaged employees and drive development towards an operation where quality, participation and security are at the center. As a unit manager in disability support, you are responsible for leading and developing the operation in accordance with the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act on Support and Services for Certain People with Disabilities (LSS). You have personnel, budget and work environment responsibility and work both strategically and operatively to ensure a lawful and professional operation. The role includes, among other things: - Lead, distribute and develop work within the unit in accordance with the municipality's goals, values and legislation. - Take responsibility for personnel, recruitment, introduction, skills development and work environment. - Ensure that the operation is conducted with good quality, legal certainty and high user satisfaction. - Take responsibility for the unit's finances, planning and follow-up. - Develop working methods and methods for increased participation, self-determination and quality in the services. - Cooperate with users, relatives, employees and other actors to create a comprehensive support system. - Participate in the department's development work and contribute to the operation achieving its goals. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who have higher education in social work, behavioral science or other education that the employer deems equivalent. You have experience of leadership, preferably within LSS operations or disability support. You have good knowledge of social legislation, especially SoL and LSS, as well as experience of personnel responsibility and operations management. As a person, you are confident, clear and present in your leadership. You create commitment, trust and participation in the work group and have a strong desire to drive development forward. We also see that you have: - Higher education in social work, behavioral science or equivalent field - Experience of leadership and personnel responsibility - Knowledge of LSS, SoL and applicable legislation - Experience of operations management and follow-up - Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing Would you like to lead an engaged team that every day makes a real difference for people with disabilities?
